What appears on a phone as the caller ID for appointment reminder phone calls?

No proper name is displayed on the caller ID for phone reminders. The phone number that appears on the caller ID is the office number of the Provider.

What appears on a phone as the caller ID for appointment reminder text messages and what does the text say?

No proper name is displayed on the caller ID for text reminders. The number that the reminders come from is from area code (704) and the rest of the number can vary. This number cannot be changed. The number will not return a text response if contacted directly.

The text says "-do not reply-reminder- You have an appointment (date) at (time) - If you have any questions please call us at (phone number) - (provider name)". This message cannot be changed.

What appears in the "From" and "Subject" fields on an email appointment reminder?

  • The From field will contain the following address: "no-reply@patientportal.net"
  • The Subject line will contain the following information: "Appointment Reminder - Do not reply. This inbox is not monitored."

 Below is a sample Appointment Reminder email which cannot be changed.

Can the callback number be changed?

The callback number displayed in the message or stated on the call can be changed within the admin module by clicking on Persons and Institutions | Practice | Preferences

The callback number can be configured to come from the practice information, the facility information, or the provider information.
