The Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale modified for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD-YBOCS), is a 12-item self- or provider-administered instrument designed to rate severity of body dysmorphic disorder (BDD).

Interpretation

  • 0-9 = not present or extremely mild
  • 10-15 = mild
  • 16-25 = moderately severe
  • 26-48 = severe
