PPS: The Save Button Does Not Appear on the Screen

There may be a time when the Save button does not appear on the screen while trying to save items such as demographics or a new diagnosis. The Save button is usually near the bottom of the screen. If the Save button doesn't appear, there may not be enough room on the screen to view all of the content on the screen. This article provides solutions for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

First thing to try

If the mouse has a scroll wheel, simply hold down the control key (Ctrl) and gently adjust the scroll wheel on the mouse up or down to the desired view.

Internet Explorer

Users can try one of two options:

  1. Maximize "real estate" by removing unnecessary toolbars     
    1. Click on View | Toolbars
    2. Uncheck all of the toolbars to maximize the amount of "real estate" that will be available on the screen.    
  2. Adjust the amount of content that is displayed on the screen     
    1. Click on View | Zoom
    2. Select from the percentage options provided.  The smaller the number, the more content that will appear on the screen    

Mozilla Firefox

Users can try one of two options:

  1. Maximize "real estate" by removing unnecessary toolbars    
    1. Click on the Firefox button
    2. Click on View | Toolbars
    3. Uncheck all of the toolbars, except the "Navigation Toolbar" to maximize the amount of "real estate" that will be available on the screen    
  2. Adjust the amount of content that is displayed on the screen     
    1. Click on View | Zoom | Zoom Out
    2. Repeat the steps above as needed to get the desired result
