November 16, 2021 Release 

Persons and Institutions 

  • Now you can add new Guarantors and Subscribers while entering patient demographics, without having to navigate away from the page. Learn more here.

General

  • On the Dashboard under Action Items and Documentation Status the "Minimum Unrecorded Appointments" label has been updated to say "Unrecorded Appointments".

  • An issue that allowed users without the "Patient Clinical Charts" permission to generate and view statements has been fixed.

Patient Portal

  • An error caused by patients entering specific demographic information through the patient portal has been fixed.

Scheduler

  • Now when dragging and dropping appointments from one providers calendar to another, the Incident-to-Supervisor field will also update. 

Session Documentation

  • An issue that caused some document templates not to update measurements in the chart has been fixed.

Treatment Plan Tool

  • The Treatment Plan Tool will now show a  grid with details from previous reviews showing the action taken, date of the review, text details entered, and review timeframe.

November 3, 2021 Release

General 

  • PDFs opened from Valant will open in a new browser tab instead of being downloaded to the user's machine. Learn more here

  • The Appointment Categories were moved from a separate page to a tab on the Practice page to consolidate practice level configurations. Learn more here

  • To accommodate longer names the Provider Display Name field was updated from a 40 character limit to an 80 character limit.

  • A new permission called "Practice" was added to control which users can access practice wide settings on the Persons and Institutions | Practice page.

Session Documentation

  • When documenting in Mobile Notes users can now add measures to their notes after the documentation has been started. Learn more here

  • An issue that did not attach completed documentation to a charge was fixed.

  • An issue where documents uploaded on the Document Sections pager were not updating the Documentation Status Icon properly was fixed.

Scheduler

  • An issue that caused appointments in some circumstances to be missing from the calendar until it was refreshed was fixed.

  • An issue that in certain cases allowed patients to request appointments through the patient portal when a provider had a multi-day appointment on their calendar was fixed.

Billing

  • An error that appeared in the Charges Report under a specific circumstance when dividing by zero was fixed.

  • An issue that prevented users from selecting the Pay Copay button on the Apply Patient Payment page was fixed.

  • An issue blocking the printing of previously generated prepayment receipts was fixed.

  • An issue with a credit card processing error message in a specific circumstance was fixed.

  • An error that caused a credit card credit to be declined, but still posted to View/Edit Charges was fixed.

October 19, 2021 Release

General

  • A display issue causing the “Action” column to sometimes appear missing has a new width requirements to prevent the column from being hidden.

  • An issue that allowed staff users without billing permission to update charge details has been fixed.

Session Documentation

  • When pulling data from previous Mobile Notes (i.e., New Note From Last), users can now choose to pull from the most recent data across all providers or only your own most recent data. Learn More here: New Note From Last Across Providers

  • An issue which prevented a client from signing, editing, or opening 

Patient Chart

  • An issue affecting the date a new diagnosis was added to the patient chart was corrected. 

  • An issue that caused medications added into Valant to display as the date prior to being written was fixed.

Billing

  • The ability to use the tab key on the Apply Patient Payment, Apply Insurance Payment (Charge Back and Payment page), and Transfer Patient Payment (Transfer To page) was added.

  • An issue handling overpayment messaging when an error occurring when refunding a credit card was fixed.

  • An issue that caused credit card receipts not to appear in the patient chart in specific cases was fixed.

  • Field validation was added to some credit card processing fields to restrict unsupported characters from credit card details fields. .

Reports

  • The Patient Aging Report formatting was updated to allow for wider columns.

Persons and Institutions

  • The custom text fields on Persons and Institutions | Patients | Custom can now be resized by dragging the corner of the field.

System

  • The Appointment Categories page was updated to allow in-line editing, and gives the users the ability to see the color blocks on the menu.

Tools

  • The Reminders page was updated with more robust filtering and users can create or edit reminders in a pop-up menu. Learn More here: Reminders

September 29, 2021 Release 

General

  • An issue was resolved which prevented the Credit Card Transaction Details section from appearing on system-generated receipts in some cases where applicable.

Dashboard

  • An issue which could cause a miscount of "Completed reports in queue" was fixed.

Scheduler

  • Patient address will now wrap to up to three lines in the Patient tab of the New Appointment and Edit Appointment pop-ups.

  • An issue was resolved which was affecting the appointment's date when detaching the second-to-last appointment in a recurring series.

Patient Chart

  • An issue was resolved so that medications discontinued by the patient may now be edited for practices without ePrescribing.

Session Documentation

  • When starting to document a session, if documentation already exists for that same session, an error message will appear to explain why the system is not allowing new documentation to be created.

Documents

  • When an eSignature Request contains multiple packets which are assigned the same display name, each packet will now be listed individually.

  • An issue was resolved so when sending an eSignature request, packets will be in the user-designated order.

Persons & Institutions

  • An issue which affected the ZIP code field for Firefox users has been fixed.

  • An issue was resolved to allow the tracking of Authorizations according to Units instead of Visits, for those practices with the "Track Authorizations by Units" feature enabled.

Billing

  • Some Pop-ups in View/Edit Charges can now be re-positioned on the page as needed. This applies to Edit Credit Adjustment, Edit Charge Adjustment, and Add Statement Note. We are continuing to work towards making all of the pop-ups in View/Edit Charge behave similarly.

  • An issue was resolved which could prevent the patient's full name from appearing while applying a patient payment when the patient had a middle initial.

  • An issue which was causing some CSV Statements to be rejected by Waystar was resolved.

  • An issue was resolved which was causing an error when attempting to edit or delete transaction detail records with special characters in the Note or Check or Reference Number fields.

Reports

  • An issue which prevented Data Export Center from displaying results when the contents contained special characters was fixed.

  • An issue with the Facility filter in the Data Export Center was fixed.

Transaction Codes

  • Zero is now allowed as a Default Appointment Duration for Procedures.

Mobile Site

  • An issue was resolved which prevented Calendar Sync from functioning properly when an appointment contained only Add-on Codes and no Primary Code.

  • An issue which prevented checkboxes from being selectable for just-edited rows on the Record Appointments page has been fixed.

  • An issue was resolved which caused an extra row to appear on the Record Appointments page for recurring appointments in certain cases.

  • Macro functionality is now available when accessing Web Editor from the Document Sessions page.

Persons & Institutions

  • An issue was resolved so that Patient Alerts pop-ups appear in the order designated in the Patient Notification field of the Patient's Demo (Demographics) tab.

  • An issue which prevented scrolling down to the last row on the Providers page was fixed.

Billing

  • An issue was resolved to increase the contrast and visibility of the Patient ID when viewing the contents of an ERA.

General

  • Hover tips were added to the main navigation panel icons when the panel is collapsed, and the Dashboard icon was restored.

  •  An issue with the Dashboard's calculation for "Patients with pending insurance claims" has been fixed.

Scheduler

  •  In the Patient tab of the New Appointment and Edit Appointment pop-ups, Insurance ID Number is now available just under the Insurance Name.

  • An issue which prevented the successful completion of credit card transactions when accepting payment from the Scheduler for certain patients has been fixed.

  •  An issue was resolved which could, in specific cases, prevent diagnoses from appearing on the Record Appointment page.

Chart

  • An issue with the Unsigned Documents hyperlink on the Chart's Overview page was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved to allow faxing from the Chart's Documents page to any recipient, not just already-existing Outside Providers. Learn more here: Outside Providers

  • An issue was resolved so that when faxing from the Chart's Lab Request page, Outside Providers are available for selection.

Documents

  • While creating a new document for a patient with undocumented sessions, the pop-up warning has been replaced with placeholder text within the Undocumented Sessions dropdown which will indicate how many sessions remain undocumented.

Persons & Institutions

  • An issue which prevented CPT Codes from being selected or added to a patient's Copay Exceptions Schedule has been fixed.

  • An issue was resolved which affected the application of Billing Types for Fee Schedules.

  • An issue was resolved which prevented modifications from being saved to Fee Schedules Start and End Dates in certain scenarios.

Billing

  • When processing a payment via the Apply Patient Payment page, you now have the option to generate a PDF receipt for the transaction using a new "Save and Print Receipt" button. Learn more here: Apply Patient Payment  

  • When processing a credit via the Apply Credit Card Credit page, you now have the option to generate a PDF receipt for the transaction using a new "Save and Print Receipt" button. Learn more here: Apply Credit Card Credit

  • An issue was fixed to allow scrolling on the Apply Credit Card Credit page.

  • An issue was resolved which addresses how the Apply Credit Card Credit page tracks the unapplied amount when filtering is applied after to-be-applied amounts have already been entered.

  • The error message which appears when attempting to save a credit card that has already been saved for that patient's Card Manager has been updated for clarity.

  • An issue was resolved so that while charging a credit card, Canadian provinces and postal codes are now supported in the Billing Information.

  • An issue was resolved to prevent the Save button on the Apply Insurance Payment page from being clicked a second time while the initial save is still being processed.

  • An issue that caused dates in the View/Edit Charges page to shift after users in certain timezones saved edits has been fixed.

Biller Tools

  • An issue was resolved which could, in specific cases, prevent diagnoses from appearing in the Pending Transactions Queue's grid.

July 29, 2021 Release

General

  • All multi-selector fields now have OK and Cancel buttons. Particularly when filtering for Providers and Facilities in the Scheduler, this allows for more efficient loading compared to processing the selections one-at-a-time.

Scheduler

  • After assigning or changing a Primary or Add-on Code for an appointment, the Save button will be disabled until the system has properly attached the appropriate Transaction Code details.

  • Now while creating a new appointment, you can check for conflicts without having to save first.

  • An issue which could temporarily revert the documentation status icon of an appointment after recording it has been fixed.

  • An issue which allowed appointments to be recorded more than once was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved which prevented the "Date of Current Illness, Injury or Pregnancy (Box 14)" stored in the patient record's Other tab from transferring over to the appointment's Other Details tab.

  • An issue was resolved to restore the Patient Alerts icon on the Patients page.

  • An issue which allowed the creation of duplicate Patient Portal accounts has been fixed.

Billing

  • An issue was resolved which prevented the provider name from appearing properly in the insurance claim file when Billing Provider Information had been entered for the insurance company.

  • An issue which affected the dates shown in the ERA after it had been saved by users in certain timezones has been fixed.

  • An issue was resolved which caused payments applied using Receipt Book to, in certain cases, appear in View/Edit Charges one day off from the expected date.

  • An issue was resolved which was preventing the successful removal of Authorizations from charges in View/Edit Charges.

  • An issue which prevented some credit card credits from being saved has been fixed.

  • An issue that caused an Add-on Code's second modifier to appear as both the second and third modifier in View/Edit Charges was resolved.

Biller Tools

  • More robust layout and filtering options were added to the Pending Transactions Queue page, along with the ability to export the list of search results. New columns include: Provider Name, Ins 1, Missing Data, Added, and Active. Learn more here: Pending Transactions Queue

  • While editing a Pending Transaction that no longer exactly matches its associated Appointment, you can now choose between continuing with any changes already made to the Pending Transaction or re-pulling the latest Appointment values.

Reports

  • An issue preventing the descriptive text on the Audit Log-Appointment Report from appearing in some cases was fixed.

Transaction Codes

  • An issue on the Procedures page was resolved so that checking "Count As Visit" for a Transaction Code registers a checkmark for "Count As Encounter" as well.

Patient Portal

  • An issue was resolved so that the Portal will acknowledge user email verification regardless of whether upper or lower case letters are used.

July 1, 2021 Release 

General

  • An issue was resolved which prevented the Patient Selector from correctly filtering by Provider or Facility.

Dashboard

  • An issue which caused the charts on the Billing Dashboard to be partially obscured was fixed.

Scheduler

  • While editing an appointment for which documentation exists, it will no longer be possible to use that appointment to create a recurrence.

  • An issue which had caused some appointments to lose their Facility information was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved so that while adding an appointment, its Category and End Time will update appropriately whenever patient selection prompts auto-population of the Primary Code.

  • An issue which caused longer patient names on appointments to sometimes fall out of view has been fixed so that the portion of the name that fits will remain visible.

  • An issue was resolved to restore the ability to collapse and expand the Scheduler panel which contains the Preset views, Interval and Zoom settings, etc.

  • An issue was resolved so that payment can now be accepted for the Add-on Code(s) only (no payment towards the Primary Code), when accepting payment through the Scheduler.

  • An issue was resolved which caused the default values to be based on the current day instead of the selected day while creating Monthly and Yearly recurrences.

Patient Chart

  • An issue which prevented display of the full text of longer lab request types when creating and editing lab requests was resolved.

Documents

  • When creating a new templated or web editor note, your cursor will now automatically be placed into the first required field.

  • When uploading a document or creating a new Practice Document, your cursor will now automatically be placed into the first required field.

  • An issue was resolved so that the timezone value from the Preferences page is now taken into account for the final signer of documents which include more than one signer.

Persons & Institutions

  • A change was made to the State field's selector to make it easier to search for a state using its two-letter abbreviation.

  • While selecting a Patient Insurance on the Patients page, the Address 1 information will now be displayed just under the insurance company's name.

  • When creating a new patient, your cursor will now automatically be placed into the first required field.

  • The system will now inform you if you have no active Billing Types when you are attempting to use the Copay Exceptions Schedule. Learn more here: Copay Exceptions Schedule

  • On the Facilities page, you can now indicate whether appointment reminders should include the phone number from the Practice, the Provider, or the Facility.

  • An issue which prevented newly added Insurance 2 and 3 from appearing in View/Edit Charges was fixed.

  • An issue which, in certain cases, prevented Custom Tabs and Fields from appearing on the Patients page was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved so that system-generated Patient IDs will ignore any spaces at the beginning of a patient's first or last name.

  • An issue in which Custom Fields would not save after a previously-saved dropdown value was cleared has been fixed.

  • An issue was resolved to prevent inactive Billing Types from being assigned to Providers.

Billing

  • An issue was resolved which resulted in multiples of the same payment transfer to be recorded in certain circumstances.

  • An issue which in some cases resulted in an extra chargeback transaction in View/Edit Charges has been fixed.

  • On the View/Edit Charges page, an issue was resolved which prevented some superusers from accessing the Details section.

  • An issue that in some cases caused the dates in the View/Edit Charges page to temporarily appear one day off from the correctly saved date has been resolved.

  • An issue was resolved on the Daysheet so that in the Other Insurance Payments section, the EFT total now accounts for chargebacks. 

  • On the Apply Portal Payment page, an issue was resolved which prevented some users from being able to use the Show History option from the Actions menu.

  • On the Apply Portal Payment page an issue was resolved so that the option to "Convert to Prepayment" will be available only to practices with the Prepayment module enabled.

Tools

  • On the Reminders page, an issue which sometimes caused the calendar to appear partially out of view was fixed.

Transaction Codes

  • An issue resolved was to allow the Description of the system-defined "Auto Payment CC" Transaction Code ID to be edited without issue.

  • On the Procedures page, an issue preventing changes to the "Count as Visit" and "Count as Encounter" checkboxes from saved was fixed.

Patient Portal

  • When the email validation option is used for Portal account setup, the resulting email will no longer instruct the Portal user to call the practice about account validation. Similarly, once the Portal user completes the setup, instructions about calling the practice will no longer be displayed.

  • An issue was resolved to allow credit card payments to be successfully processed through the Patient Portal. Note that this feature is available only available to customers with credit card processing through Elavon.

June 16, 2021 Release

General

  • The width of the Patient Selector's results list is now more dynamic to better accommodate longer patient names and IDs. A hover tip now appears when hovering your pointer over any of the Patient Selector's search results. Learn More here: Patient Selector

  • Filter parameters either selected in the table column headers or typed into the filter row directly below the column header will be preserved until your session ends or you close the browser tab, whichever occurs first. This new behavior can be observed in the upgraded tables across the application, including those found on these pages: Patients, Guarantors, Record Appointments, Uninitialed Documents, Providers, Facilities, Office Staff, and Receipt Book.

  • Under the Help section of the main navigation menu, System Status was added as a new option. Clicking on System Status opens a new tab which provides information on any known service interruptions.

  • An issue was resolved so that the scrollbar is present as needed when a new user is setting up their account.

Scheduler

  • When grouping appointments by Facility on the Scheduler, column headers will now display Facility ID instead of Facility Name.

  • After selecting a Facility for an appointment in the Scheduler, its Facility ID will be displayed instead of its Facility Name. Learn more here: Appointment Details

  • When there is only one active Facility, it will now automatically populate as the appointment's Facility while creating non-patient appointments, for fewer clicks and consistency with patient appointments.

  • An issue was resolved which caused appointments to be cleared from view and then re-rendered after recording an appointment, detaching from a series, or in some cases, accepting payment.

Patient Chart

  • The Measures page will now inform you if you are attempting to arrange for a One-Time Measure for a patient who has no Portal account.

  • An issue which prevented options for outside providers from being displayed when faxing from Lab Requests, and displayed an error even thought the fax was successfully sent, was resolved.

Documents

  • An issue which prevented the selected provider from automatically being added as the document owner when a staff starts a Word Template or Web Editor document was resolved.

  • An issue was resolved which caused the time values listed on the Document Sessions page to be displayed with an unnecessary timezone conversion.

Persons & Institutions

  • After selecting a Facility for a patient in Persons & Institutions, its Facility ID will be displayed instead of its Facility Name.

  • An issue was resolved so that a warning message will appear when attempting to inactivate a patient with an outstanding balance due.

  • An issue which caused non-integer co-insurance values to revert to zero when adding them to Copay Exceptions Schedule was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved so that CPT codes appear in the Copay Exceptions Schedule instead of the Procedures' Transaction Code IDs.

  • An issue was resolved so that Add-on codes no longer appear in the Copay Exceptions Schedule.

  • An issue which prevented an Authorization's Start Date and End Date from being the same date was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved so that users with the Persons & Institutions permission can save changes to the Provider tabs which don't require Admin Access (i.e., Provider, Direct, Preferences, Notes, Availability, and History).

Billing

  • While applying an insurance payment, the Patient Selector now includes inactive patients.

  • On the Create Finance Charges page, an Annual Interest Rate of 0% is now supported.

  • An issue which caused the EasyNav to be disabled when applying a payment in Receipt Book was fixed.

  • An issue which prevented the check/reference number on a standalone payment from being displayed on the View/Edit Charges page was resolved.

  • An issue was resolved which caused the Notes icon to appear in View/Edit Charges even after the corresponding note had been removed.

  • An issue that prevented users from editing a prepayment to 0 was resolved. 

  • An issue that caused Authorizations to not show properly in the patients records was resolved.

Biller Tools

  • The automatic calculation for the Pending Transaction Queue's Start Date filter is now based on the Default Months of Charges value from the Preferences page.

Reports

  • Report Center now includes a Card Manager Report which provides information about data saved in the Card Manager. Note that the Card Manager is only available to customers with credit card processing through Elavon. Learn more here: Card Manager Report

Transaction Codes

  • An issue which prevented Transaction Codes from being saved in 1-minute intervals was resolved.

Reference Data

  • In the "MASTER Progress Note - All Tabs and Measures" and "MASTER Intake Note - All Tabs and Measures" templates on the Manage Mobile Notes Templates page, a new tab called "Interactive Complexity" is now available. In this new tab, providers can document their justification for Add-on code 90785, Interactive Complexity.

May 17, 2021 Release

General

  • In the Scheduler, Record Appointments, Pending Transactions Queue, and Appointment Requests Queue, the appointment form now includes expandable rows to show the units, modifiers, and service units for the add-on codes and the primary code. Learn more here: New Add-on Codes Fields

  • For practices not using the the Pending Transactions Queue, the Courtesy Discount and Discount Note fields are now available for each procedure code in the Scheduler, Record Appointments, and Appointment Requests Queue.

  • The Fee Schedule label on the appointment form has been made more prominent when the procedure codes (primary and add-on) are informed by the values in an insurance company Fee Schedule. Note that the label, if applicable, appears whenever the code is added or modified in an appointment. Learn more here: IO: Fee Schedules

  • Editing the Service Unit value of a procedure code on the Procedures page will automatically update the Service Unit value in appointments and charges in the Pending Transactions Queue, but will not update the Service Unit value of charges in the View/Edit Charges page.

  • An issue was resolved so that the timezone value from the Preferences page is now factored into the Calendar Sync feature available from the Mobile Site. Learn more here: Calendar Sync

Scheduler

  • An issue was resolved so that users who accept payment from an appointment in the Scheduler will now see the charge for each procedure code (primary, add-on 1, and add-on 2) multiplied by the respective unit in the payment window.

  • An issue which prevented Superusers from being able to preview certain Uninitialed Documents was fixed.

Billing

  • An issue which prevented Credit Card Charges from being processed when non-alphanumeric symbols were included in the billing information has been fixed. 

April 16, 2021 Release

General

  • When you have the application open in multiple browser tabs, and log out from one of them, each browser tab will now return to the login page.

  • Superusers can now switch from one Client Practice to another using the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the page. When the application is open in multiple browser tabs, and one is used  to switch to another Client Practice, each browser tab will go to the Dashboard of the newly-selected Client Practice.   • Macro functionality is now available when accessing the Web Editor from any of the EasyNav menus.

Scheduler

  • An issue which prevented the Courtesy Discount and Discount Note fields from appearing on appointments has been resolved. This occurred for practices that do not use the Pending Transactions Queue.

  • An issue which caused the patient's assigned facility to replace the user-selected facility after updating the primary code in a new appointment was resolved. This issue affected practices with Enhanced Billing Validation enabled.

Documents

  • An issue which caused a blank preview to appear for Web Editor documents in Unsigned Documents has been fixed.

Persons & Institutions

  • Now you can save the patient record and stay on the same page by clicking "Save". Click on "Save and Close" when you want to save your work and automatically be returned to the list of patients. Learn more here: Persons & Institutions | Patients

  • While viewing a list of patients, the EasyNav menu is now available as a dropdown from each Patient ID. While in a patient record, simply click on the patient's name or ID in the page header to access the EasyNav menu.

  • Information previously found on the Appt. Reminder tab has been consolidated onto the patient's Contacts tab.

  • Manage the patient's current and historical insurance details all in one tab. Setting insurance as primary, secondary, or tertiary is easier than ever using the drag-and-drop functionality accessible from the "Set Insurance 1/2/3" button. Learn more here: Insurance Tab

  • An issue which prevented some large custom field values from displaying correctly has been fixed.

  • An issue was resolved so that fields on the Preferences tab will be populated with default values when adding a new provider.

  • Tools that where previously available in the Options menu has moved to more contextually-appropriate tabs on the patient's page.

  • The insurance tab (abbreviated as "Ins") consolidates all insurance information in one place.

  • Similarly, all guardian information has been consolidated onto the Guardians tab.

  • Appointments (abbreviated as "Appts") have been promoted to their own dedicated tab.

  • Copay Exceptions Schedule is now available next to the Copay field on the Demographics tab.

  • The ability to write off outstanding balances is now found on the Balances tab.

Billing

  • In View/Edit Charges, you can now switch a charge's insurance to any of the patient's existing insurances. Based on your selection, the related insurance details -- ID Number, Type, etc. -- will be automatically populated.

General

  • When the system detects that you have been inactive for 30 minutes, a pop-up will appear with the prompt, "To keep working, click Continue." After clicking Continue, you can resume working exactly where you left off before the pop-up appeared.

  • Today's Appointments on the Dashboard now displays the same Agenda view as seen in the Scheduler. You can interact with the appointments in the Dashboard much in the same way as on the Scheduler, e.g., hover over the appointment to see additional details in a hover tip, double-click to edit an appointment, or right-click to access the appointment's menu options.  Learn more here: Today’s Appointments

  • Macro functionality is now available when accessing the Web Editor from the appointment menu or from the New section of the main navigation menu. While in Web Editor, you can create a new macro for later use or select an existing macro to insert its pre-defined text into your note.   • Special characters such as parentheses, quotation marks, periods, and commas may now be used for more precise searching in the Patient Selector.

  • The appointment menu now includes the option to "Download Last Clinical Note" for your own appointments and clinical notes.

  • An issue was resolved so that scheduling multiple available time blocks for a provider in the same day will no longer result in the warning "This appointment time is outside the available hours for this provider at this facility." to erroneously appear when an appointment is scheduled during an available time.

  • An issue which in specific circumstances prevented signed eSignature documents from moved from Unsigned eSignature Requests into the Patient Chart was resolved.

  • An issue was resolved so the default selection to use the Practice NPI/TIN or the Assigned Provider NPI/TIN when checking eligibility or batch checking eligibility will now match the default setting on the Preferences tab of the Practice page.

  • An issue which prevented users from being able to access certain Insurance Companies was resolved.

Billing

Patient Portal

March 10, 2021 Release

General

  • The Patient selector was improved to allow for more flexibility using any combination of the patient's first name, preferred name, last name, or middle initial while searching. Learn more here: Open Chart Patient Selector

  • Tables which support column selection and re-positioning will preserve those layout settings for the next time you log in using the same browser and device. For added security and privacy, this does not apply to your filter and search settings, nor does it apply when using "incognito" or "private" browser windows.

Reports

  • Report Center now includes an eSignature Billing Report which provides visibility into the status of eSignature requests, whether the patient has clicked on the request, or completed it by signing. February 17, 2021 Release

Scheduler

  • An issue was resolved which prevented the Scheduler from displaying appointments if the selected timeframe included an appointment for a patient with invalid ePrescribing data.

Patient Chart

  • An issue was fixed so that the patient address on the Overview page will now include the Address 2 field.

  • An issue which rendered the End Date uneditable for some One-Time Measures in the Patient Chart has been fixed.

Session Documentation

  • New outcome measure available for Mobile Notes: CIWA-AR (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment of Alcohol Scale, Revised). The CIWA-Ar is a 10-item, provider-administered measure designed to monitor alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Learn more here: CIWA-AR.

  • Layout and styling improvements allow Mobile Notes pages to now fit better on smaller screens. Additionally, to make it easier to discern which tab has focus, the selected tab is now a more distinct color.

  • An issue was resolved which prevented users from opening a New Note from Last Word Template when the Word template contained duplicate bookmark names. In the case of duplicate bookmark names, now a warning will appear which references the name of the duplicated bookmarks.

Billing

  • The Transfer Patient Payment workflow was updated to increase the efficiency of transferring payment from one transaction to another for the same patient. In case the payment is meant for another patient's transaction(s), the ability to select another patient is still available.
  • In the ERA page, the Tx. Ins. Name column will remain visible, regardless of the browser window size.
  • An issue which prevented the application of patient payment toward transactions with either a $0 or credit balance was fixed.
  • An issue was resolved so that patient payments entered without any check/reference number will show a blank Notes field in View/Edit Charges instead of the word "null".
  • An issue was resolved so that after entering an Insurance Refund in View/Edit Charges, its Refund Amount will be properly saved.
  • An issue in the ERA Details grid which prevented 6-digit Billing IDs from being displayed in entirety was fixed.

  • An issue was resolved which sometimes prevented the loading indicator from disappearing after Batch Eligibility Checking had completed successfully.
  • An issue which could clear the date in the Pending Transaction Queue's Edit Transaction form was fixed.
  • An issue was resolved whereby editing a transaction in the Pending Transaction Queue would render its EasyNav menu inaccessible.

Tools

  • Patient diagnoses on the Treatment Plan will now be ordered according to their billing order from the Patient Chart. Below those, diagnoses without a billing order will be listed.
  • An issue which affected the ability to sort on the Reminders page was fixed.

Reports

  • An issue was resolved which affected the formatting of the Facesheet CSV when the file contents included a carriage return.

Reference Data

  • In the "MASTER Progress Note - All Tabs and Measures" and "MASTER Intake Note - All Tabs and Measures" templates on the Manage Mobile Notes Templates page, a new tab called "E&M Time" is now available. When the tab is used for documenting a patient appointment, providers will see a "Time Spent on Activities" worksheet which allows for the tracking of non-face-to-face time spent on the appointment’s date of service.
